Hello,
I had this problem for a while. My character is permanently mounted. In game player Mana advised me to post here and see if it could be fixed.

Reason for request : Character is always on mount and can't get off it.
Account name : bloodplus
Character name : Andromeda
Level : 18

It seems that this is a problem for which there's no simple solution. If you'd like I could replace the character with the backup from the previous day? (I keep daily backups of all characters going back to when the server started). Let me know here, or in a PM if you want to try that.

Finally, I'll try to log in from time to time trying to check if you're there. Regardless, post any specific time for this coming Saturday (Apr.6.2013) that you will be online, I'll try to log in then
The backup solution sounds great if it'll work. If i get de-leveled, you can always level me to original experience.

PS for the late reply to this post, you owe me 1 full ranger set as compensation + blue anc helm.
Edit - just remembered, my character is an RDD. Nwn used to have a problem with re-lvling rdds ?

Hi and sorry for the delay.

I'll grab the most recent version of your character that is not superglued to the saddle and swap that with the current version. If things go pear shaped then I can always revert. As regards RDDs, yes there are problems if you try and delevel / relevel in game, but if you have a saved character file (like the ones I have in the backup) then that's not a problem.

Andromeda should be fixed. I had to go back to quite an early save to find a version that wasn't permanently mounted, so I've added back XP and gold to where you were with the most recent version. Let me know if you run into problems.

As regards the PM, I'll try and sort those out for you but probably will need to wait until the weekend.
