Hi boys and girls.

Firstly, I think I should thank Kaltrip for doing all this. I used to play on a PoA server probably about 7 years ago. For some reason I just popped NWN1 out of storage and installed it a few days ago. I decided that I wasn't going to play anything other than PoA and Kaltrip seems to have some of the same ideas about how this game should be run...so here I am.

Unfortunately for me, I have a 6 month old baby and a wife that hates video games so, I won't have much time to spend online. But having sampled PoA again, the little time I do have will be spent there.

Hi Brian and welcome to the server and forums.

We can maybe have a competition between the two of us to see who gets least time to play; I keep getting dragged away to do other things too so I can sympathize. I'm still on my first and only character and have only managed to get to level 15.

Still, I like to think it's the quality rather than the quantity of time spent in game that matters and I hope you have as much fun as I do when you do get a chance to play.

One of the only two mods I ever spent a lot of Time on was poa (the other was NWK - Callianswelt) very glad to see a lvl 20 "orginal poa".

Hey Kaltrip. Thanks for hosting vanilla poa. Now that I've found it I'll probly be on every moment of my waking life (not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing).

I figured putting up a vanilla PoA and tweaking things a bit to work with 1.69 was the least I could do in return for the fun I've had over the years, especially since I can provide a decent service at zero cost to myself other than a bit of time. So as I keep telling people, it's no big deal.

Thanks for putting up this server. I have also played POA for many years with my boyfriend Deva. As soon as he saw this server he told me to make a character straight away . I'm on nearly everyday but waiting for more people to play regularly

It's the player base that makes any server, I just try and keep thing running so that the game is there when people want to play, and it really isn't that big a deal. More players though, now there's an awesome thought.

Nice server, started getting back into NWN again after 6 month break. Thought Id do a POA server again and yours is the best Ive seen so far. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of people on when I'm on mainly due to different timezones. Its a good server and probably can take the cake as the guy who's on it the most. Keep the good stuff coming.

The credit for the the module goes to the original builder, AW Trespasser. I've just taken his module and made a few changes so that it runs under the 1.69 version of NWN. We still have only a relatively small number of players and, as you found, people playing in some time zones have a hard time finding others to party with. If you ever run into any problems caused by bugs in the module / game, please send me a PM and I'll do my best to undo the damage. Have fun!
