Server Time Out with 1.79 update

Can't stay logged in for more than 10 minutes before server times out an restarts

Well, I've found out what is happening and have a temporary fix in place. I'll get things sorted properly at the weekend but until then restarts may be a bit "interesting".

Also some of the characters cant log on says to many skill points or some sort?

Are these characters RDDs? There were some changes in the latest version as regards how the levelling history of that class is recorded. I think this is so that removing a level works cleaner. There is supposed to be an automatic update when the character is played. If necessary I'll fix characters manually.

It seems the problems with RDDs is more general. A quick fix would be for me to reset affected characters back to level 1 with enough XP so you can level back to current level? If so, let me know which characters are showing the problem and we can sort things out that way. Otherwise we may have to wait until a fix release appears.

OK a patch has been released and applied and it seems to have fixed the problem with RDD characters.

I've also sorted out some problems with server restarts that have been causing problems over the last few days since 1.79 was put in place, so hopefully everything will be back to normal.
